Feeling like a hypocrite

November 14, 2014 By admin Leave a Comment

So after my long post about my son’s report card and not being swayed by it, I have finally opened it.
Today when he got into the car after school he asked if I had looked, and I honestly replied that no I hadn’t.  I thought maybe he had looked at it, but he apparently wasn’t that interested either.

But when I sat down to work at my computer I finally looked.  The first thing that came up was a certificate for Finn.  He had made the High Honor Roll in his first few months in middle school.  He had warned me about his only getting B’s and maybe a C.  No warning about seeing his cute name on High Honor Roll.  Ok, I was proud.  I was really, really proud to see his name on that peice of paper in scrolled writing.
